It took 40 days for Moses to receive the law. That is a long time to wait. The people became impatient. They didn’t trust God’s timing, so they made their own idol.
Sometimes God asks us to wait. Maybe for an answer, a job, healing, or guidance. We must learn to trust Him during the waiting. His timing is perfect.
This verse reminds us that while we wait, God is working. He was preparing something holy for the people. But they lost faith too quickly.
